Nobody wakes up in the morning and decides, "today is the day i'm going to cheat". I don't believe it is ever a calculated venture from the inception.

It starts with the innocent hello, which ends up in hell, and now that the cell phone has evolved into a compressed laptop, social networking has never been more easy. So if you are spending too much time strolling down digital Memory Lane, an emotional affair could be in the works_ you are a human being, are you not?

What started as a match of wits ends up in one partner sharing himself or herself with another person, which chips away the foundation of core relationship, creating a platform for a new one.

A friendly relationship snowballs into something more meaningful, a feeling of connection with that other person which supersedes a current relationship.

Lets beware of the dangers.

  1. Well said!

    ps, where have you been?

  2. Thanks Myne :-).
Yes, i have been missing in action, but its good to be back.

  3. Girlfriend, you've hit the nail on the head.

People spend so much time, chatting away their lives, and get caught up in an emotional fantasy, which does not exist, before long they start to pick faults with their actual partners.

What started as a little flirting on the side, turns into a nightmare for the innocent significant other. We all need to take a step back, and access and channel all that time building our present relationships and less time frolicking.

  4. So true. I found myself nodding at nearly every sentence. Do blog more often. Don't starve us :)

  5. @ Maame, thanks for the contribution, indeed your comment should be a continuation :-)

@ Etolie, i am most flattered, thank you.
